Lindsay Lohan has been left crushed by the death of Heath Ledger. An inconsolable Lindsay, romantically linked to Heath as recently as November, has been telling friends “I loved him,” adding that the two were going to see each other on Friday.

“They had plans to meet this weekend, because Lindsay was going to be in New York,” a source tells E! News. “So, news of his unfortunate passing has hit her especially hard.”

“Let’s just say, she could really relate to his situation,” another Lindsay insider tells E!. “She used to be there, and I think that probably scared her.”
