Lindsay Lohan Headed to “Anger Management”

This just in: LiLo has been ordered to enroll in Anger Management. Legal-addled actress Lindsay Lohan will guest star as herself in an upcoming episode of Anger Management, the FX series featuring her dear friend (and fellow Hollywood eff-up) Charlie Sheen.

Anger Management was picked up for a 10-episode inaugural season last year. The side-splitting series — inspired by the Jack Nicholson/Adam Sandler film of the same name — joined the lineup as part of the network’s summer comedy block. Management, now in its second season, airs Thursdays at 9:30 ET/PT.

According to Lionsgate, the studio that produces the show, Lohan will appear in an episode in which she “develops a romantic relationship with Sheen’s character after becoming his therapy patient.” Lindsay’s makes her Anger Management debut in April.

Of course, Charlie and Lindsay are no strangers to romantic innuendos about the true nature of the friendship. Goss Gawkers began to question whether the Scary Movie 5 co-stars were actually “friends with benefits” after Sheen gave Lohan $100,000 to help cover the estimated $230,000 in back taxes the scandal-scarred starlet owes the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

And just this month, Sheen picked up the tab on the designer dress she rocked at the amfAR Gala Fundraiser. A few hours before the annual gala kicked off New York Fashion Week, Sheen put in an emergency call to celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, requesting that he provide a couture gown for Lindsay to wear to the high-profile event.

Charlie was just being a good pal, his rep says:

“Charlie has a long history of helping out his friends in many ways, and this is just another example of that.”
