It’s back to blonde for Lindsay Lohan. The natural-born ginger spent 11 hours in a Los Angeles salon this week trading in her red tresses for bleached extensions. Oddly enough, an unidentified friend of the 23-year-old claims Lindsay is one chemical treatment away from joining R&B divas Cassie and Solange as one of the latest stars saying “So Long” to locks.

In a hairy situation that has her pals buzzing, Lindsay is reportedly in danger of losing her hair after her signature lengthy mane recently began doing a vanishing act after years of tress stress.

“Lindsay has done so much to her hair, it’s a wonder she hasn’t lost it all,” the Lohan mole reveals in Star Magazine’s August 11 issue. “She overprocesses it and gets too many extenstions, which often rip her real hair out,” according to the insider. “You know Lindsay was around when you see these long red hairs everywhere.”
