Lindsay Lohan was formally arrested on Thursday for the May Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charge. The actress and two other adults were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible when she lost control and crashed into a curb and shrubs on Sunset Boulevard on May 26, police said. A “useable amount” of cocaine was discovered at the scene.

Lindsay surrendered at the Beverly Hills Police Department, accompanied by her attorney, shortly after 4 pm Thursday and was fingerprinted and photographed, before she was released on a $30,000 bail.

According to the official Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department website, Lindsay was held in custody for about an hour around 4pm.

LiLo is scheduled to go to court on August 24 and a prison sentence is likely.
