Tennis ace Lindsay Davenport has been friends with embattled golf star Tiger Woods and his wife Elin for several years and calls allegations that the former Swedish model is an aggressive woman who attacked Tiger — with a golf club, no less — during a fit of rage outrageous.

The tennis pro has a home near the family’s estate in Orange County, California and describes Tiger’s wronged spouse as “very loving, very loyal” and “level-headed,” telling Entertainment Tonight: “The insinuation that [Elin] would be aggressive or attacking is just preposterous. … She always handles herself with class.”
