Lily Allen Susan Boyle Slam — “She’s Overrated”

The tongue-lashing Lily Allen has blasted Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle after a victorious performance on last weekend’s show, labeling the Scottish spinster turned YouTube sensation “overrated.”

The “Smile” singer was less than impressed with Susan’ rendition of the showstopper “Memory,” featured in the musical Cats. The weekend performance won Susan a spot on BGT’s May 30 finale.

“I thought her timing was off on Sunday – no control, and I don’t think she has an amazing voice,” Lily wrote on her Twitter.com page Monday.

Lily claims 12-year-old Shaheen Jarfagholi is far more talented than the 48-year-old Boyle and should have advanced to the finals.

“She can sing, but it’s not about talent with her, is it? She seems like a lovely lady but, if the show is about talent, then that Shaheen kid should win,” she added.

The Sun U.K. the Mirror U.K. The Daily Mail or Daily Telegraph, are always going to slam Lily Allen for having an opinion, on anything. These, and other tabloid magazines, never have a kind word for her. Allen, clearly states, that Susan Boyle seems like a lovely person, so that people are not confused about what she is saying. However tabloid magazines will turn it into a vicious comment. Too many people think that Simon Cowell is a complete ass, if someone leaves a vindictive comment, it’s only being written to lash out at lily Allen, because they (not me) don’t like her.!

Favoritism factors into this big time! That has nothing what so ever to do with talent! As in they are two separate issues. The judges, were fair in letting Susan Boyle, overcome the odds, because of the way she looks, and took notice of her singing abilities, where others in that situation have failed and they have been humiliated for it! Young Natalie, was attempting, to sway the judges, with her, cute face, but also because she’s so young. Lily Allen’’s only opinion in this is, that the judges, are not only unfair, they are hypocrites as well. Susan Boyle made one little mistake because her nerves got the better of her and her breathing wasnt as good as it should have been and thats why you see her putting her hand on her stomach, this was to correct her breathing and if you watch it again she doesnt make any mistakes after this. In my opinion Susan is a well trained vocalist with a pretty decent voice but it isnt unique or special. Shaheen has a raw talent and should have been born in the Motown years in the US.
