All is not quite going according to plan in Lily Allen’s effort to crack the U.S. music market…because the British songbird keeps getting mistaken for actress Katie Holmes.

According to Britain’s Star Magazine, Lily was recently overheard telling a pal: “I can see it myself but it still hurt that no one had any idea who I actually was, you know.”
