In the first surprise elimination of the season, rapper Lil’ Kim was booted from Dancing with the Stars just one week shy of the semi-finals.The star with the lowest score – rodeo star Ty Murray – did not go home.

Though sad to go, Lil’ Kim said she loved being a part of the show, alongside professional partner Derek.

“I think this is one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever experienced in my life,” Lil’ Kim said as the news sunk in. “I think I brought different viewers. I know people that have never watched the show… watched the show… This is a great experience.”
