Lifetime has pulled a repeat episode of The Heene Family’s March appearance on Wife Swap. The family’s first of two episodes on the quirky ABC reality comedy was supposed to air on the network on Oct. 29, but has been removed from the lineup following last week’s captivating “Balloon Boy Hoax.”

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Richard Heene and his demure wife Mayumi, of Fort Collins, Colorado, are accused of setting off a massive search and rescue operation and media frenzy after falsely reporting that their six-year-old son Falcon was inside a homemade helium balloon that broke loose and drifted for hours thousands of feet above ground.

“It was on the schedule long before the incident,” a Lifetime spokesperson said. “Once we found out (the incident was a hoax) we decided to pull it off the air. At this time, we don’t have any plans to air it in the near future.”
