Levi Johnston’s Naughty Bits A Bust For Playgirl
Somewhere out there, Sarah Palin is having a moose burger and laughing her ass off: Levi Johnston’s nude photoshoot for Playgirl.com failed to live up to the hype. Last month, the estranged almost son-in-law of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin stripped down to show off his strapping barely-legal form for the popular gay-interest mag in exchange for a $150,000 payday.
Sadly for Levi, no one really cared.
“Nowhere near enough people paid the 19.95 dollars [online fee] to cover the reported $150,000 dollars the fading brand paid the Alaskan hunk to go rogue,” a source told The New York Post Thursday.
However, a rep for Playgirl denies reports that the debut of Levi’s naughty bits were a bust, saying: “Between the hours of 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. the morning the shoot went live on Playgirl.com, we had already surpassed all daily sign-up records. For the amount we paid, not 150,000 dollars, we were astounded at how well it has gone for us. In terms of sheer publicity, it has been worth millions.”
