A popular high school hockey player has been fingered as the father of 17-year-old daughter Bristol Palin’s unborn baby. The McCain campaign confirmed whispers that the unwed daughter of Alaska governor Sarah Palin is five months pregnant on Monday.

According to the New York Post, Levi Johnston, also 17, is a self-professed “fuckin’ redneck.”

Johnston wrote on his MySpace page (it has since been taken down) that he is “in a relationship,” adding “I don’t want kids.”

The senior a member of Wasilla High School’s hockey team, once played alongside Bristol’s older brother, Track, in a youth league.

Levi enjoys snowboarding and riding dirt bikes.

“But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some shit and just fuckin’ chillin’ I guess.”
