Leonardo DiCaprio Frank Sinatra Biopic
Leonardo DiCaprio has a good chance of landing the role of Frank Sinatra in a movie based on the crooner’s life — if he can learns to sing that is.
The Titanic star has reportedly hired a top vocal coach to teach him how to mimic the legendary showman. According to new reports, director Martin Scorsese — who has been tapped to helm a new biopic on Sinatra — has put Leo at the top of his list to play Ol’ Blue Eyes, but has insisted that the actor learn to emulate the singer’s signature sound.
Hollywood insiders tell The Sun: “Leo has hired a top vocal coach to get him sounding like Sinatra. He is a massive fan of the singer and has always wanted to play him.”
“He would be sick to miss out on the leading role because his singing wasn’t up to scratch,” the insider added. “He is now in intensive vocal coaching lessons to replicate Sinatra’s distinctive style.”
