Leona Lewis Denies Involvement In Chris Brown-Rihanna Assault
British songbird Leona Lewis has denied claims that her flirty conversation with Chris Brown prompted last weekend’s violent brawl between the R&B star and his girlfriend Rihanna.
Chris, 19, has been charged with making threats in connection with the incident which reportedly left 20-year-old Rihanna with serious injuries to her face and bite marks on her body.
According to celebrity tattles, the fight broke out after Leona was seen chatting with Chris at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party on Saturday.
“Rihanna saw Chris flirting. He and Leona were laughing and Rihanna saw his hand on the small of her back.
It was totally innocent but it set Rihanna off.”
But Leona’s spokeswoman says rumors that the X-Factor star was flirting with the attached Brown are categorically false:
“This has nothing to do with Leona. Leona is very happy with her boyfriend Lou (Al Chamaa) and it was totally innocent on her behalf. There was no flirting.”
