Singer Lenny Kravitz has hit out at reports that he is engaged in an inapproriate relationship with the wife of New York Yankees star Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez. Lenny says Cynthia Rodriguez fled the Big Apple after reports that her husband has been having an affair with pop star Madonna reached the press on Tuesday-and as a friend he opened his Paris home to her.

“There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself,” Lenny tells Us Weekly. “This is unequivocally 100% not true. Cynthia is a friend and is here (in Paris) with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl….She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.”
