Lauren Conrad Hired Acting Coach For Guest Appearance On “Family Guy”

It’s unclear what the future holds for Lauren Conrad once she ends her five season run on MTV’s The Hills later this year –but our crystal ball tells us that it sure as heck won’t be acting!

The reality personality secured the services of an acting coach to help her get through a guest appearance on the animated FOX comedy Family Guy.

LC claims some of her lines included “big words” that were too “complicated” for her to pull off a convincing performance using her talent alone.

Oh boy…This punchline just writes itself, doesn’t it?

“I hired an acting coach for the day to get me through it because a lot of the lines later on in the episode that I did are very complicated,” she tells OK!. “There are a lot of facts and big words, and I had to say it as if it was coming to me very easily— instead of just reading them. I actually had to research some of them!”

This is Family Guy we’re talking about, not a Tony Award-winning musical.

Luck for Lauren, her acting coach was there to save the day. “My coach that I was working with told me if I really understood what I was talking about, it would come through a little more true.”

Tune in for Lauren’s guest appearance on Family Guy Sunday, May 3.
