Mother Monster: A Mrs.? Lady Gaga and her longtime beau, actor Taylor Kinney, are reportedly close to a march down the aisle.

The singer’s longtime pal Lady Starlight says the pair is hopelessly in love and about thisclose to making the ultimate commitment. Speaking to The Sun, Starlight dished:

“She’s told me he’s the one and you know that instantly when you see them together. They were made for each other. At first I thought he was too hot to be cool but now I think he’s totally awesome. From all I’ve heard, I don’t think I’m dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year. There’s a summer period when his shooting schedule will be clear and her concert and studio commitments will be minimal, so expect an announcement sometime soon.”

Kinney, whose acting credits include The Vampire Diaries and Chicago Fire, is a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He appeared as Gaga’s love interest in the music video for her hit single “You and I.”

Gaga has always refused to talk about her relationship with Taylor. The pair has been careful to leave hotels and parties separately to avoid being photographed together. They were spied on clandestine shopping and dining trips before going public with their love affair in 2011.
