I am and have been very much a Lady Gaga fan, but am I the only one that saw this as very disturbing? I guess a lot of you don’t know about the things that are really going on right now around the world and behind the scenes. Check out Jay-z s new video “Run this town” Through the entire thing they use illuminati symbolism. It is right in our faces and the majority of you can’t even see it, like I didn’t used to be able to, but now I know. Jay-z also has songs that say “murder murder jesus and 666″ when played backwards. Look it up on youtube. Didn’t you guys here the scream/cry she let out when everyone was around her right before she got pulled up? And, didn’t you see the look on her face??? Did you not notice that even in her eyes she look traumatized and in a trance like state? In all of her videos there has always been illuminati symbolism also and I always wondered if she was a willing participant, now it is really looking like one of their victims/mind controlled slaves. It is actually pretty common in the “industry” I wish people understood and saw things the way I do, but you’d have to do years of research and be preceptive too and that doesn’t come naturally to most people. This performance was extremely disturbing to say the least. The people that are running the world right now are extremely evil and their power stretches across every thing from government establishments, to universities, the the media and even the music and movie industry. Pray to god for yourself and everyone else because we are in some deep sh_t. You don’t get to be famous for nothing and you don’t get to be famous with out agreeing to do what you are told.

i loved lady gaga since she came out. i always felt that she stands out from the crowd and does a good job with her music, but i have to say this was creepy. it changed my view of her. when she rubbed the “blood” on her face she looked so demonic. i’m not happy at all. her performance was the only one i was looking forward to waching and im quite disappointed.
to comment on The Phoenix…. its true what you said. people dont become famous without agreeing to what they want you to do. the hollywood life is only a sad life to live.

That comedian actor said a prayer to the devil at the very start! It went downhill with demonic references from there. As for Lady Ga-Ga, Im DISGUSTED. Bet the big wigs in the music biz loved the show though….

Now, I’m a huge fan of Lady Gaga, and I have to say the performance she put at the awards show is nothing short of spectacular and entertaining. But what I find even more entertaining is the discussion here so far. It amazes me that the kind of psychological problems people must have to actually believe she or anyone could actually have any demonic connections.
Only when you let go of your superstitious beliefs, you’ll find that this performance and earlier prayer to Satan led by Jack Black actually very entertaining and incredibly funny. And part of the reason they are, is that we know all these references to demonic powers bug the hell out of the kind of the people that have posted above.
Come on people, demons and the devil don’t exist, and neither do angels and God.

RE: Mike’s statement.
Whether or not we personally believe in Satan or God or anything pertaining to religion, there are people who do – and they’ve performed their rituals at the VMAs disguised as entertainment. Anybody praying to a dark lord and encouraging the room to participate, then having dance numbers like we saw may not strike everybody as ritualistic but it was certainly disturbing and most definitely not appropriate for minors to be exposed to.
I like a lot of Gaga’s songs. They’re catchy, good to dance to, and she has a good voice. The symbolism in her is plain, however. Anybody can see how it would encourage youth to be vapid and superficial to have your logo be a headless naked woman.
Whether you believe in the occult or not, it’s always good to question what’s in front of you. The worst thing that can happen is that by looking into things, you’ll have a true personal understanding.

It was obviously a shoutout to Phantom of the Opera, with the broken chandelier and the mask. I really have no idea where she was going with the blood and screams, unless it was the Phantom scene where the main male opera singer gets murdered by the Phantom. Or it could relate to her song, where she’s singing how much she loves someone. Perhaps enough to bleed to death? But I like the Phantom theory better, because it’s my favorite musical, LOL!

Wow you are all idiots. It is about trying so hard and giving your all until it finally gets to you and it runs you down into nothing. If you all actually looked and listened to the lyrics you would get it. Oh, and most likely she didn’t really mean for it to get on her face but she just rubbed it on accidentally. I have done that before with red paint. IT IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT SOMETHING TO DO WITH SATANIC RITUALS!!!

Junebug has no idea what she is talking about. Baphomet is the pagan goat god, a symbol of fertility and prosperity. The goat head and the female body is what baphomet is because both signify fertility, so go back to hiding behind your bible you little scared christian haha. Shes obviously making a statement about something other than trivial things like religion. One could suggest that it could be because of the vile and viscious hunger of the papparazzi and their need to expose and misconstrue things, who knows?
Personally, I feel she is delightfully eccentric and artistic. She is what I call an entertainer, she performs music with a theatrical aspect and keeps the crows both entertained and guessing her next move. I am a musician and I have 100% admiration and respect for that woman.

The key to the meaning of the song was the title of the song – Paparazzi – duh. I like the way she sings about her undying love for “Papa” Razzi. Note the classic Italian background set. If anything the song is a condemnation of the paparazzi who follow stars around hoping for them to wind up crippled, bleeding, dying, suicidal.
Not only is this a fantastic song, it is pure art. And to me the pure white clothing that is corrupted by the evil intent of Papa Razzi is pure metaphorical beauty.
No one could ever beat the Madonna “Like a Virgin” bridal appearance on MTV awards, but this performance is truly an equal in my own blood red eyes. Bravo Lady Gaga!

READ her quotes for yourself:
Lady Gaga’s performance was hailed as “brilliant” by many music fans. If you however ask them what it symbolizes, their face turns into a question mark. Here’s what Gaga said about her performance during an interview at gagadaily.com
Do you think it will be one of those defining moments people will remember at the VMAs?
I know it will. I sort of have this philosophy about things: there’s never a reason to do something unless it’s going to be memorable, unless it’s going to change things, unless it’s going to inspire a movement. With the song and with the performance, I hope to say something very grave about fame and the price of it.
Something grave? What?
You’ll have to see.
What are you going to wear?
I would say that the fashion for the performance is a representation of the most stoic and memorable martyrs of fame in history. It’s intended to be an iconic image that represents people. I think after watching the performance and maybe studying it after you watch it on YouTube, you’ll see the references and the symbols come through.
The setting for the performance is very symbolic. Gaga performs in a temple or maybe an aristocratic mansion, complete with columns, chandlers and paintings. Occult rituals, mind control experiments and even human sacrifices have been constantly rumored to take place in those kinds of locations. One feature I cannot ignore is the presence of two massive pillars underneath an arch. – Copied from the http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=2191.
Jesus and his disciples CAST OUT devils from possessed souls when there is opportunity. Anyone who does not believe in God – the LORD Yahvh – and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth has NO power against the Devil and his demons.

The song is about the dangers of wanting fame! About how our celebrity obsessed culture destroys people’s lives.
Did you actually listen to the song? In the first few lines she sings:
“Amidst all these flashing lights I pray that the fame won’t take my life.”
And the point of the song is that by the end, the fame does take her life, through the dysfunctional relationship with the paparazzi.
Watch the video. The message is the same – she just had a stage show with the blood to shock the VMA crowd.
I think she’s great. A real pop artist, in the Andy Warhol sense of the term.

I am haunted and in awe of the performace. I never paid attention to the song previously. The tribute to the price of fame and the angst in this rendition are stuck in my head. I am now a fan.
Incredible artist. Incredible performance.
But, it is too coordinated to be an act of a spontaneous individual rebel, like Warhol or Andy Kaufman, and I don’t see her as a tactical self-exploitator like Madonna… yet. I suspect there’s some manufacturing in Lady Gaga persona. If I’m wrong, then my hat’s off to her as a force.
As far as demonic or devil references… I can’t really believe that.
Then again… wasn’t the greatest trick of Satan was to convince everyone he didn’t exist?
Even if Satan just represents the temptation and tendancy in people to do the wrong thing… in a way, Lady Gaga’s performace was mocking just that!

As for her performance SHE IS THE ONLY PERFORMER THAT SANG LIVE besides jay z. She is a true talent and will be around for years so get use to her, and i think it’s really sad that overly religious people think that they have the right to shove their beliefs down everyones throats. I love god and I am also religious in a way but am no where near living a “religious” life. She is an amazing woman and more people like her than dislike so you stand short on this one.
