Christina made these comments long before Gaga had a hit single. These comments are from November 2008 and Just dance was not a big hit until December 2008/January 2009. She wasn’t being a complete bitch, she did not know who Gaga was then but I agree she could have put her comments better.

I still give Gaga the upper hand for being classy and mature. Good for her.
I love both of them dearly, though.
If they collaborated….I would just die.
They both have such amazing voices.

The rookie, Gaga, is winning the PR war over the veteran, Christina. Gaga cleverly allows the comparison rumors to swell while NEVER dissing Christina, whose comments seem defensive & petty. X-Stina should just let the best voice in pop music do all the talking.

lady gaga is an influence to art, music, and fashion. christina has been the bubble gum pop star to compete with britney, the dirty girl to make herself relevant again, and 50′s when old hollywood was in. let’s not pretend that christina has any identity. she has one of the best voices ever heard, so why can’t she come up with anything new? at least gaga never insults another artist EVER

well her people are just trying to style her in a more up to date manner, so her people who obviously are aware of the Gaga package of style and visuals, event though they are mostly borrowed. But the thing is this image is nearing plagerism, its not Christinas origional look so the she’s been around for years lark fails here. She is trying too hard and seems very insecure that she may be old news, id say shes surrounded by yes people who are fueling this desperate attempt at a comeback.

Do any of you really think this is creative and innovative or just a PR copy and paste job

CHRISTINA’S STYLE IS HER OWN?
Right because NOBODY has ever done the good girl look, or that whole bad girl thing she tried to put on. Oh and NOBODY ever tried that 1950s look either! SO original.

I know Gaga isn’t the most original thing, but she tries. She tried to be different from any other pop star, and I applaud her for it. She’s not original, but she isn’t a copy cat either. She takes things from the past, and makes it her own. And she gives credit where it’s due.

that’s exactly what she’s not, sorry to say.
I would think the same thing if I hadn’t heard her talk.
Even after Christina called her a man, Gaga was being the big person and said that Christina was a beautiful, talented woman.

Anyway, Gaga never claimed to be original, her fans did. Has she not always stated who influenced her? She always does, and that’s what I like about her.

i like both christina and lady gaga but i do remember before lady gaga was famous and when christina released her stripped album i had actullay seen a picture of christina with platinum straight blonde extentions and this was back in 2002 or 2003… and personally i believe from the year 2000 and onwards artists have been copying past artists and themselves so no offensive the music industry in this generation are not originals… their all rip offs

Christina had her hair like that first, so Gaga is stupid for saying shes flattered that Christina did that. I like Gagas music, but if your gonna diss Christina than you can kiss my ass. Cus shes made way more hits then she has so far, dont diss a legend sweetiee.
