Kyra Sedgwick, star of TNT’s “The Closer,” has just become one of the highest paid actresses on television-she Golden Globe win on Monday night to thank for that.

K.S has inked a new deal TNT worth a reported $16 million and will become a producer on the show. She will receive between $250,000 to $300,000 per episode, including bonuses. “The Closer,” headed into it’s third season this summer, stars Kyra as gum-shoe Deputy Police Chief, with a Southern accent, Brenda Johnson.
