Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit Debuts at 12 PM Eastern, Sold Out at 12:01

Screen Shot 2015-11-30 at 1.06.01 PMLiterally. Her hugely-anticipated makeup set entitled Kylie Lip Kit sold out in a minute. One minute, people. If you’ve ever underestimated the appeal of young Kylie Jenner and her influence in the world, think again, because she may be the Kardashian/Jenner with the most clout after all.

Kylie Jenner of the infamous lips has been teasing her own lip kit for at least a year, designing the products after her own signature neutral-to-brown shades of lipstick. She created the products amid the extended controversy surrounding her temporary lip fillers, and among the near-thousands of teens around the world who, misguided, performed the potentially dangerous Kylie Jenner Challenge, in which they sucked on shot glasses and other objects to inflate their pouts.

Kylie Jenner’s makeup alternative is obviously the better choice. The kit is (was?) available in three matte colors, each packaged with a liquid lipstick and a corresponding lipliner. Here are the three shades, pulled from the lip kit’s staggeringly popular Instagram account, which opened just a day ago:

Dolce K, Candy K, TrueBrown K. More info soon

That’s Dolce K, Candy K, and True Brown K, all of which are now gone. Each color was sold separately, for $29 each. But even though the entire stock was sold out in less than a minute, Kylie took to Twitter to ensure all her rabid fans that they’ll be able to get their hands on the lipstick soon. (Thank goodness!)

It seems like maybe the set isn’t completely sold out after all—maybe they’re just restocking, regrouping, or figuring out how to keep the site, lipkitbykylie.com, from crashing completely under the strain of a million-odd fans. Like me.

As of time published, the site is still experiencing “higher traffic than normal” but hasn’t “sold out” yet. Keep checking, Kylie fans!
