The ashes of late Nirvana star Kurt Cobain have been swiped from the Hollywood mansion of Kurt’s eccentric widow, rocker Courtney Love. Courtney kept the grudge legend’s ashes and a lock of hair in a pink teddy bear-shaped bag in her home. She was “horrified” to arrive home a couple of weeks ago to find the bag, along with several thousand dollars in jewelry and others valuables, missing. A devastated Courtney has reportedly been left “suicidal” by the theft.

According to NOTW:

“I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me,” Courtney is said to have told a friend.

“”They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me…..Now it feels like I have lost him all over again…..I find it disgusting and right now I’m suicidal. If I don’t get them back I don’t know what I’ll do.”

Kurt Cobain, who long struggled with heroin addiction, committed suicide by shotgun in 1994. The ashes of the “(Smells Like) Teen Spirit” star with scattered in a Buddhist temple in New York, others were scattered in the Wishkah River near his home in Washington State, the rest remained with Courtney.
