Kristin Cavallari Earns $90,000 Per Episode Of “The Hills”
The gates of Hell opened back in June when Life & Style Weekly scooped that reality show villain Kristin Cavallari would earn approximately $63,000 per episode to act like a tomfool on the upcoming sixth season of MTV’s The Hills.
Many of us simply couldn’t imagine an unemployable twentysomething earning a year’s salary in week for simply standing around in designer clothes yelling at people. Well, if you thought Kristin’s previously reported salary was outrageous, wait until you hear the new figures being attached to the outspoken reality star.
Kristin has set a new precedent for MTV, FOX News sources claim. According to network tattles, the Denver-born aspiring actress actually clocks closer to $90,000 per episode — making the blonde The Hills’ highest-paid castmember. (To do what exactly, is what we’d like to know.)
Kristin’s salary is even higher than that of arch nemesis Lauren Conrad, who departed the series in May. The New York Times Best-Selling Author – a burgeoning novelist — banked just $75,000 a show during her five season stretch as star of the popular docu-drama.
