Former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari just scored a guest starring role on CSI: NY.

Kristin will play a handbag designer on an episode scheduled to air December 17.

“We wanted a fresh face. Someone young, attractive, hip. And because the episode is set in the fashion world, we thought who is a bigger trendsetter than Kristin?” CSI executive producer Peter Lenkov said Friday. “My tween daughters talk about her all the time. I finally stood up, took notice and jumped on the Kristin bandwagon.”
