In the March 2009 issue of Nylon Magazine, Kristen Stewart is bites back at rumors that she had a fling with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

“It’s just totally false. Rob and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him.”

“And it’s like, I know the guy really fucking well,” she continues. “It’s only natural that we sort of lean on each other, because we’re put in the most fucking psychotic situations.”

Kristen is currently dating Michael Angarano, who she met when the two co-starred in the Lifetime movie Speak in 2004. They started dating two years later.

“He’s older than me—he’s 20 now—but when you’re 13 and he’s turning 16, it was always sort of an out-of-reach thing. Then you get a little older, and you realize, ‘Oh, What the fuck am I thinking? I can have you, like, lickity…He’s awesome.’”

Kristen on The Success of Twilight: “Anywhere we’d go for ‘Twilight’ was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well. It’s so manic that you’re just pushed and pulled around… You get a slew of all these bulls*** questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now — I can’t even consider…’”

I never saw twilight, but i witnessed the fever surrounding it, including my 29 year old twin sister reading all the books and coming home from the movie saying she felt a little weird to have been sucked into the whole teeny bop thing. I’ve actually never heard kstew talk. Because of what she does, people are watching her every move and every word and how us nobodies perceive the stars is a big part of their careers. I never did understand the screaming of fans though. Kristen and Rob are real people who haven’t got caught up in all the ‘hollywood’ crap and thats Why I love them. When they do interviews they don’t sit there like little robots acting all fake and perfect. They get nervous, shy and they are humble just like any other person would be. So instead of everybody coming down on them for their response to a question or if they stand too close to eachother or too far apart for that matter, take a step back and look at the insane situation of it all and think how you would feel. I know that this is the career that they chose but let’s face it they do it because it’s what they love to do not because the like getting stalked and hounded every move they make. Give it a rest people and let them be themselves and say what they are thinking without all the criticism!!!
