Kris Jenner Signs On for Another Season
Kris Jenner has signed a whopping $100 million deal with the E! to stay with network. Keeping up with the Kardashians will remain on the air for another four years.
According to PageSix, the mother/manager has secured a deal for herself and her daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian along with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Bruce Jenner is not part of the deal. The agreement is the networks highest deal in TV history for a reality brand; it covers four more seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, as well as spin-off shows and possible digital projects.
A source informed the New York Post Newspaper’s, “‘you’ll be seeing a lot more of the Kardashian family. This is a huge deal, which will see their involvement with the network and its digital properties expand well into the future.”
Meanwhile Bruce Jenner is leaving Keeping up with the Kardashians and is rumored to be starting his own show, which will document his gender transition.
Kim’s husband Kanye West is reportedly not included in the$100 million deal, but he is expected to continue to make the occasional appearance on the show. Show creator Ryan Seacrest will also receive a ‘sizeable fee’ under the contracts terms.
There has been a number of spin-offs from the show, including a special recording Kim’s 2011 short lived wedding to Kris Humphries. Kim has become the most famous from the show her wedding to Kanye in 2014 was not the part of a TV special as it was with Humphries, however the lead up to the Kim and Kanye wedding was featured on KUWTK.
