‘Knocked Up Is Sexist,’ Katherine Heigl Tells Vanity Fair Magazine January 2008

Katherine Heigl is taking aim at the summer blockbuster movie that sky-rocketed her to superstardom. The Grey’s Anatomy star says Knocked Up is “little sexist.”
In the film, the twenty-nine year old actress plays a woman whose unexpected pregnancy forces her to rearrange her life and forces boyfriend Seth Rogen to grow up.
The movie “paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as goofy, fun-loving guys,” the Emmy Winner says in the January 2008 issue of Vanity Fair Magazine.
Katherine went from $300,000 per role to $3 million after her appearance in Knocked Up.
