Just when it seems that Britney finally has her head on straight, the pop squeak does something to remind us that she’s blonde and bipolar. Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline have been secretly “boning by phone” for the past few weeks. The exes have reportedly taken to getting together for weekly “encounters,” courtesy of Verizon, amid recent rumors of a possible reconciliation between the two.

“They have phone sex pretty often-at least once a week…The one thing those two have in common is their need for sex,” according to the whispers of one tabloid spy.

It only started a couple of Mondays ago, when a sleepless Britney rung her ex up at approximately 2 am. Apparenlty, Kev had just the steamy remedy for sending his former wife into a deep slumber-an hours-long session of erotic talk, Star Magazine reports.

A Star snitch says: “She often contact Kevin on Monday nights, usually because she’s recovering from a lonely weekend and feeling insecure…He knows just how to get the sultry talk started. Kevin is long-winded and can go on forever!”

But phone sex is where Britney draws the line says one insider:

“Britney won’t have actual sex with Kevin because she’s so afraid of opening that door..To have physical intimacy would be a lot for her to handle right now.”
