Kelly Osbourne has entered rehab.

“Kelly Osbourne has voluntarily entered a medical facility to address some personal issues,” a rep for the singer said in a statement Friday. “Her family supports and stands by her.”

Family matriarch Sharon Osbourne confirmed that her 23-year-old daughter has checked into a residential treatment facility for the second time in less than five years in a “tearful” interview with RadarOnline.com late Thursday.

“Yeah, Kelly’s in rehab.”

“What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we’re proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she’s getting it.”

Sharon didn’t want to reveal the location of the rehab facility where Kelly will be for at at least the next 30 days. She also refused to discuss what she’s getting help for.

“Kelly will tell you herself when she gets out,” Sharon promised. “We just pray that everything’s going to be okay….She been working right up until she went in.”

Sharon added, “This is one of the absolute worst things that a parent can face, for their child to go through rehab. And not once, but twice. However, we are all very glad Kelly’s doing it.”

Kelly was arrested earlier this month for assaulting a British gossip columnist who made unflattering remarks about the star’s boyfriend.

The First Family of Reality TV will return to the small screen in their new FOX variety show The Osbournes Relodaded next month.
