Former American idol champ, Kelly Clarkson, called her performance of My County Tis of Thee today, “Nerve-wracking.”

Kelly, accompanied by her fiance, Brandon Blackstock, looked gorgeous in purple as she hit the stage for a great performance. Following her last note, the President thanked her for her performance and Kelly laughed and tossed her hands in the air in relief as she headed back to her seat.

Following her performance, Kelly tweeted,”Wow ….I was incredibly nervous and cold ha! I just wanna officially thank President Obama for opening for me haha! …”
