In an interview that aired on Canada’s CTV Network on Monday night the world’s first American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson came under fire for ‘dissing’ the competition that made her a household name. The ‘My December’ singer said she prefers the Canadian edition of the talent competition. “Yours is so cool,” Kelly told the Canadian interviewer. “Your Idol is so much better! They don’t let you near instruments on American Idol.” Kelly will perform on ‘Canadian Idol’ on Tuesday night.
