Kellie Pickler CMA Awards Performance Breakdown

Kellie Pickler broke down crying during Wednesday night’s 2007 CMA Awards. The buxom beauty fell to tears while performing “I Wonder,” a song about the mother who abandoned her when she was two years old.
“Oh, I hear the weather’s nice in California,” Kellie sang as tears began to fall. “And just in case you’re wondering about me – From now on I won’t be in Carolina – Your little girl is off to Tennessee.”

Kellie is a beautiful person and although I am not a country music fan, I liked her from day one on American Idol and I am so happy to see that she is doing what she wants to do with her life. She is a strong lady and held herself well even with all the emotions she had running through her. WAY TO GO KELLIE!

Living in Nashville, I often feel a little frustrated at the ‘pop’ element of Country music. Kellie’s performance was so amazing for so many reasons. It was honest, emotional and left me standing on my feet in my living room yelling and cheering for her after her performance. Way to go, Kellie!!!
