I think neither, Lindsay is American and Keira can’t act, They’ll both ruine an amazing story. They will do well if they got a British actress to play the part and one that can Act would help. The book is written by and English writer and is based in Britain so i think it would make sense. After all at that time there wasn’t any Americans anyway. BIG MISTAKE!

Not sure about Kiera or Lindsay, but Tom Pelphrey IS Heathcliff. He is the only Heathcliff I can imagine. He could bring layers to the character, humor, sarcasm, rage, jealousy, power, tenderness, romance, fierceness, cruelty, all of it. And he looks EXACTLY like Heathcliff should look.

Keira Knightley and Gerard Butler would be dynamite together as Cathy and Heathcliff. And if they’re true to the book, chemistry is so important. Butler has that handsome, charming quality, at the same time as he can be dark and cruel like Heathcliff is in the book. Christian Bale would also do Heathcliff justice. Keira definitely has the natural beauty of Cathy and the ability to portray her dual character. I can so see Keira and Gerard riding over the moors together. I can’t wait to see my favorite book on screen again!

For the love! I dont even care for Aterton, far too elegant and so help me if they try and stick Kristen Stewart in the role I will e leading a march on Hollywood! I can think of half a dozen grocery store cashiers and waitresses whom Id cast over any of these girls. They say this one and that one but some real girl is going to fly right past them and they’ll be so worried about a big name they’ll miss someone perfect. sadly the young women in film today just don’t have skill of women in the past, id say my generation has no great female, though there are men who seem to exhibit promising talent.

does anyone know when this wil come out or when their gonna choose the actress? this is my absolute favorite book and i’ve seen a few of the movies so far the 1992 one with juliette binoche and ralph fiennes was pretty good. personally lindsey lohan annoys the crap outta me and so does cathy earnshaw so if those are the choices i guess her cause i loved keira as elizabeth and i dont want that ruined if she plays cathy, let the crazier of the two have it

That’s just wroong!!! If I had to choose I’d choose Keira but come oon there are millions of actresses, did they have to choose Lindsay??? They’re gonna ruin the movie! I’m sorry but she just doesn’t fit in that roll, Catherine should be done by someone else.
