The small screen just got another dose of weekly tomfoolery. E! has renewed the Kardashian family reality smash with Keeping Up With The Kardashians for a third season. The new season will premiere in early 2009.

“E! viewers have embraced the Kardashian family and the series has become one of television’s most talked about shows,” Lisa Berger, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Series Development for E!, said in a statement Thursday. “We are fortunate to work with Seacrest and Bunim-Murray who have an exceptional ability to capture the Kardashians’ hilarious, chaotic and always entertaining personalities and family dynamics. There is never a shortage on drama and we are certain the new season will be another wild ride.”
