This week, Katy Perry released three saucy new promo pictures ahead of the release of her forthcoming third album — Teenage Dream – premiering Aug. 24.

The effort features the title track, which is currently No. 3 on iTunes, as well as Katy’s No. 1 summer smash, “California Gurls.”

In one shot, Perry imitates Bettie Page in some eye-popping PVC lingerie. Another features the free-spirited songstress in a cut-off California shirt and leather shorts perched in front of a painted peace sign backdrop.

Just last week, Katy revealed the official album cover– designed by Will Cotton. The Teenage Dream cover art, which features a nude Perry smiling seductively at us — will also smell like cotton candy.
