Katy Perry Responds To Beth Ditto Diss
Katy Perry has responded to singer Beth Ditto’s remarks branding her “offensive to gay culture.”
In the June issue of Attitude Magazine, Beth claimed that Katy’s signature single “I Kissed A Girl” was nothing more than “an anthem for straight girls who like faking gay.”
“I heard that she said something about me,” Katy admitted when probed on the matter by Britain’s London Paper at Wednesday night’s Glamour Awards in the UK.
“I don’t want to get into a slanging war with anybody so I don’t want to say anything bad about her. But I’m not impressed,” the often quirky singer scoffed. “I’ve learned in the past year that one artist should never insult another artist’s music – it’s tacky,” Katy added. “And with me, it always comes back to bite me on the ass!”
