I carry a pistol daily. I'm not "wrecking lives". If anything I have prevented loss of innocent life. As someone who lived in the UK, I already think the "knife ban" was absurd. People will kill people. Why take weapons from law abiding citizens? Criminals will still have them. Those who cannot kill/protect themselves will always be at the mercy of those who can. So what?
