Controversial pop singer Katy Perry has been slammed by anti-crime activists in Britain for posing with a three-inch knife in a new publicity photo.

The 23-year-old “I Kissed A Girl’ crooner is being accused of “glamourizing” knives, in a year in which more than 60 British children and teens have been stabbed to death.

“This woman’s behavior is unacceptable. She must be out of her mind to pose for a picture like this,” says Richard Taylor, whose 11-year-old daughter Damilola Taylor, was stabbed to death in South London eight years ago.

“There is nothing glamorous about knives – they wreck families. Any youngsters seeing her will think it is okay to carry a blade.”
