Kelly Clarkson will rerecord a lost track from a summer singing sensation on her upcoming album.

Next month, Kelly will release a track called “I Do Not Hook Up” as the second single off her new All I Ever Wanted LP.

Ironically, the song was written and once performed by the “I Kissed A Girl” hitmaker Katy Perry.

According to MTV News, “I Do Not Hook Up” was penned approximately three years ago — and co-written by American Idol’s new judge Kara DioGuardi.
