Talk about a blast from the past: Before she was a girl-kissing hitmaker “waking up in Vegas,” Katy Perry was Katy Hudson — a fresh-faced 11-year-old who wanted to perform. Grammy-nominated vocalist Katy Perry posted a vintage headshot of herself at age 11 on Twitter.com over the weekend.

The “Hot N’ Cold” singer changed her recording name from Hudson to her mother’s maiden name of Perry in her teens to distinguish her from actress Kate Hudson.

Katy, 25, re-discovered the old photo while packing up her apartment:

“Where are you Katy Hudson? This was my first 8X10 probably around 11 years old… Ahh memory lane…”
