Katy Perry is self-conscious about her acne scars.

The “Waking Up In Vegas” singer makes the confession in an interview with the June issue of Cosmopolitan. During the chat, Katy admitted to a Cosmo reporter that she’s struggled with insecurity over the marks on her face for several years.

“I have acne scars. I’m self-conscious about that, so sometimes I wear too much makeup to cover them up,” Katy explains. “I got acne at the start of my career. It was a stressful time.”

“….I have insecurities like anyone,” she added.
