“Bikini Girl” performs “Vision of Love” on Tuesday night’s premiere of American Idol 8.
Katrina Darrell, a 20-year-old model from Chino Hills, California, divided the judges’ table into a Battle of The Sexes Faceoff when she pranced into her audition for the eighth season of American Idol wearing high heels and a string bikini.

Kara’s demonstration was exponentially better and I do not blame her at all for calling Katrina out. It wasn’t catty, it wasn’t jealousy, she was seeing past the lack of boobs & talent. She even complimented the girl before making her *honest* criticism.
But of course Katrina had to be b*tchy back & I don’t blame Kara for anything she said that point forward.
The girl only got thru bc of the bikini and she knows it. She just wanted attention, I doubt she really aspires to be a singer. There are plenty of people out there who would want the opportunity wayyyy more.
I’m sure she won’t last that long in the show, so I’m not worried about it. Maybe she will take Kara’s advice & come naked next time, at least it’d make for better ratings.
