British glamour model Katie Price is set to star in the UK version of television’s 1990s hit series Baywatch.

Katie, also known as Jordan, has been selected by David Hasselhoff — who starred in and produced the original series — to be the main star of the new version of the popular show, which followed a group of Los Angeles lifeguards.

Katie flew to Los Angeles this week to begin acting lessons she hopes will win her a role in the proposed series

“I’ve been thinking about basing a new show over here. It would be called ‘UK-Watch’. And Jordan is certainly feisty and has curves in all the right places,” David said this week.

Baywatch made international sex symbols of buxom stars Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra. Once the world’s most watched show, Variety recently revealed that a Baywatch movie in early production.
