Katie Holmes narrowly escaped injury when an explosion occurred on the Melbourne set of her new film on Monday.
Mrs. Cruise is in Australia filming Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. On Monday, Katie shot scenes in a car that later caught fire after the battery blew up.
“Katie was very shaken by the ordeal,” a source told Mail Online. “She took the rest of the day off while special effects staff looked over the faults. Katie has filmed scenes since but it has made her think about her safety on set. She will be shooting the same scene at a later date.”
The insider added, “She’s obviously very nervous about it.”
