A rep for Katie Holmes has denied an online rumor which claims the freshly-christened fashion maven is trying on her design hat and launching her own clothing line for legendary fashion house Armani.

According to the report, Katie for Armani’s debut collection will premiere in high-end department stores for the Spring 2009 season. Katie will reportedly begin by creating a line for small children, then teens, with her first women’s collection on store shelves by 2010.

None of it’s true, Katie’s rep says:

“She is not designing a children’s line for Giorgio Armani.”
