After the Penn State scandal rocked the College Football nation and then Joe Paterno passed away….the widow of Joe Pa, Sue Paterno, has remained silent.

Now, she’s speaking out for the first time to Katie Couric. Katie traveled to Happy Valley, and interview Sue at the Paterno family home, where she and Joe lived for over 50 years.

In addition to the taped interview at the family home, Sue will appear on Katie’s daytime talk show on February 11th.

Sue and the Paterno family have previously defended Joe’s actions after the Jerry Sandusky scandal broke. Sandusky of course is serving a life sentence for the molestation of several boys, all which occurred on the Penn State Campus.
