Kathryn Erbe Stalker Slapped With Federal Charges
An obsessed fan accused of stalking Law & Order: Criminal Intent star Kathryn Erbe for more than two years has been charged with federal interstate stalking.
On Tuesday, prosecutors charged Charles Nagel with federal interstate stalking during a court hearing in Brooklyn, New York. In March, Nagel, 36, was arrested in his hometown of Philadelphia, following accusations he bombarded the petite actress with disturbing love letters and traveled to the New York City set of her hit TV show twice. In addition, Nagel is alleged to have sent messages to Erbe through the mail and used social networking sites, like Facebook and MySpace, to harass the actress’ then-14-year-old daughter and brother, causing “substantial emotional distress,” according to the indictment.
Nagel faces five years in prison if convicted.
