“Katherine Heigl Not Leaving ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’” ABC Programming Manager Says
Despite causing quite a stir after blaming poor story lines for her decision to drop out of the 2008 Emmy race, Katherine Heigl is not out at Seattle Grace. In fact, ABC says it has a mind-blowing storyline full of twists and turns all planned out for Dr. Stevens.
“She’s absolutely staying with the show,” ABC programming chief Steve McPherson said Wednesday. “There’s an unbelievable storyline for her this year that’s essential to everything that’s going on with the season.”
