Has Kate Hudson been dipping into Madonna’s sloppy seconds?

A rep for Kate has played down rumors that the Bride Wars star has been filing up her very active social calendar with dates with Madonna’s alleged former lover New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.

Kate prompted rumors of a budding new romance with Rodriguez after she was spotted leaving Lure Fishbar in Manhattan on Saturday with the third baseman in tow.

According to the NY Post, Kate and Alex were then spotted in a New York City bar together later that night, where they met up with buddy Ron Burkle.

Not true, says Kate’s publicist, who insist the actress and the recently divorced Alex are friend who were simply out as part of “a group of 10 people.”
