Say what you will about the Kardashian clan (no, I will not spell it with a K and you can’t make me) — they do stick together.
After Kim announced she was ending her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries, the public (read: me) was only too happy to mock her and call her a famewhore and say the whole thing was one giant publicity stunt, but that didn’t stop her siblings from publicly rallying around her in a show of support.
After turning in a strong performance on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” Rob Kardashian told People:
“Obviously she’s going through a lot right now, but she has her family and we’re very supportive of everything she does and every decision that she makes.”
Meanwhile, on her blog, Kourtney said:
“Our sister is going through a difficult time but we’re a close family and are sticking together like always. Kim, we love you.
We appreciate everyone’s kindness and support.”
And Khloé took to her own blog to add:
“I just want to thank all of our amazing fans for your unconditional love and support. My sister is going through a very difficult time and your kindness right now means the world to all of us. Kim, we love you more than anything.”
Unspoken subtext: “Please don’t stop being famous because we all need that or we go back to being nobodies.”
