Kanye West Writing Child-Friendly Raps for Baby

Now that he’s all set to be a daddy, Kanye West is planning his own hip-hop take on the classic tales of Dr. Seuss.

The “Flashing Lights” rapper and his socialite girlfriend Kim Kardashian are expecting their first child later this year. ‘Ye has reportedly wasted no time slapping on his “Thinking Cap” and plotting his own musical rendition of Dr. Seuss’s children’s classics Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat in the Hat.

A source told The Sun newspaper:

“Kanye’s going to record child-friendly raps of Dr. Seuss, who he’s a big fan of…Kanye’s really in touch with his feelings. He wants Kim to lay down some vocals while she’s carrying his child. He thinks it’ll be cool for his son or daughter to listen to the track when they’re older.”

Sound familiar? Kanye’s rap mogul pal Jay-Z released a song celebrating the birth of his baby daughter with pop star Beyonce in January 2012. The track, titled “Glory,” featured the cries of the tot and entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 74. The feat made little Blue Ivy Carter the youngest person to ever appear on a chart.
